If I understood correctly, the formation of CHLs United through the Texas Firearms Coalition was to focus solely on the off limits locations, the same as HB308 was attempting to do. I think that Charles has a strategy in mind and is working out how it will be implemented. I'm guessing that it might be in advance of the 2017.

I'm ready to do whatever I can to help. We will likely not solve quickly off-limits locations like Federal property (Post Office, COE land) but there are some current off-limits places that are in control of the State which can be addressed. It would be just awesome to see September 1, 2017 (a normal effective date for legislation) as the day when LTC holders could go everywhere that LEOs do.
