...reached and gently but firmly taken the gun and given it to the clerk...telling him loudly what the kid was doing...but then I'm an irritable old fart...and I've worked in a pawn shop where unloaded guns turned out to be loaded...several times...and have been in a gunstore where a customer jacke...

USAR Military Police, 1984-1987. 1911A1 sidearm, with the order of 5 in the mag on amber while on duty. Long time ago with no knowledge of the now-a-days, but even in that condition,,, wish I would have been at the MEPS on Fort Hood.

They did tell me that they received my fingerprints and they looked good. Whats that suppose to mean? Most probably a really GOOD thing. Meaning that the prints were acceptable for use, some have had to "re-print" prolonging the process even longer. Good luck and welcome to the waiting ga...
