Re: I Like Oliver North For The NRA, But Some Don't?

Olivier North is a very well spoken, charismatic Marine, but his involvement with the Iran-Contra operation which was associated with illegal drug shipments into this country link are a concern.

I do have to give him credit for getting our hostages back.

Re: WA: Boston Globe reports on mountain bicylist killed by cougar

Then the Massachusetts legislature came along and prevented these bicylist's from having the means to protect themselves. Sad. I thought this happened near Seattle. WA is s "shall issue" stste, so if the cyclists chose to be prey, I don't blame the cougar for doing what comes naturally. M...

Re: WA: Boston Globe reports on mountain bicylist killed by cougar

Clearly we need to make it illegal for cougars to attack people. :biggrinjester: God said, "Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that mo...

Re: BATFE: Bump-Stock-Type Devices: Notice of proposed rulemaking

Does anyone know the timeline on these types of rules? Apparently, we have until the end of June to submit comments, which will need to be read, considered, and possibly responded to. Then a final rule would need to be issued, and a timeline established for turning your newly defined "machine ...

Re: UK: Ring of Steel to protect Royal Wedding

Only the royals have the right to state protection with guns. Subjects do not. The practical difference between a republic and an oligarchy is the presence of effective weapons in the hands of the citizens. In a republic, the state excercises a limited monopoly on the use of force; in an oligarchy ...

Re: CHL holder attempts to stop fatal hit & run.

The reality is we live in a time where bad people increasingly use vehicles to kill a lot of innocent people: 2016 Nice attack On the evening of 14 July 2016, a 19 tonne cargo truck was deliberately driven into crowds of people celebrating Bastille Day on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, France, r...

Re: CHL holder attempts to stop fatal hit & run.

I am trained in First Aid, CPR and AED in order to help others. But I know several people who would never render basic first aid or CPR to someone who needed it. These individuals I know are very well versed in "Good Samaritan Laws" but they simply would never take any risk to help anyone ...

Re: CHL holder attempts to stop fatal hit & run.

LTC's are not LEO's. Highly dependent upon circumstances before we step in slinging bullets. Shooting at a fleeing car? Do you know for certain where your misses are going to end? Bad idea. It is very true that any LTC shooting at a fleeing car even in these circumstances is taking liability upon t...

Re: !st year of CHL in Texas

That first year the usual establishment gun grabbers were screaming about how there would be "blood in the streets" and all kinds of other hysterical propaganda. None of the propaganda was true. It was all lies designed to keep Texan's disarmed, weak, vulnerable, and dependent outside of t...

Re: Active Shooter reported at Santa Fe High School

NRA's Dana Loesch: The media needs to stop creating 'monsters' who commit mass shootings #MSM has got to stop creating more of these monsters by oversaturation. I'm not saying don't responsibly report on things as they happen. I understand it. But constantly showing the image of the murderer, const...

Nope - I'd have shot at him, too! Deadly force is perfectly legal to prevent the fleeing of one who has just used unlawful deadly force, Please cite the relevant law that justifies this. Sec. 9.22. NECESSITY. Conduct is justified if: (1) the actor reasonably believes the conduct is immediately nece...
