Re: Crimson Trace or Night Sights?

I voted night sights over laser grips. Crimson Trace laser grips are interesting devices, but seem superfulous for right-handed shooters, as they will find the only time the laser paints the target is when they have already decided to shoot. Notice how when the trigger finger is in register, the ins...

... Sometimes they take all the weapons that the defender owns. - Jim Other than those used during the self-defense event, it is irrelevant to the matter whether or not you own other firearms. Since you don't get to know when your next self-defense event will occur, it is smart for you to store in ...

Good outdoor range with ceasefires about every half hour. They charge by the number of shooters and number of firearms and you have to use their targets. No drawing from holsters, that I recall. You can shoot pistols while standing or sitting. Rifle ranges are 25, 50 100, 200 yards. All rifle shooti...

I met two of my buddies at Shiloh yesterday and we had a great time shooting our pistols and AK's. There are not many places where you can practice close-range shooting with rifles. Who knows, your next rifle shot may be 20-30 feet. After shooting, we pulled up a chair up front and had a nice visit ...

The steel cartridge cases by Wolf, Barnaul, etc. is right at home with Russian-designed equipment. There is much debate whether machinery that is not Russian-designed can handle the steel cases. I have seen several hundred rounds of Wolf successfully used in AR15's owned by friends. I cannot say abo...

When I see those signs, I just smile as I walk in the door and say to myself, "Thank you for welcoming me and my concealed handgun into your establishment."

...Now for the embarassing part of the day... When I got back to the car and reloaded, I forgot to put the mag back in the well after loading my "Barney Fife" in it. Carried into Cabela's, bought a locking case for the car, carried into Sportsman's Warehouse looking for ammo and only noti...

Don't let that little sign slow you down - it is not the proper or legal notice to a person with CHL.

On a practical note, your ability to carry can be severely hindered as more and more county buildings that contain courtrooms have security screening upon entry into the building (metal detectors and x-ray machines).

Sounds like the makings of interesting meeting. However, the whole event would have been avoided had the man simply carried concealed. I know, I know, Virginia law allows for open carry, so he did nothing wrong. This is another example where politicians, police and sheeple are not ready to see our h...

LedJedi, Your view is well-founded and logical. However, since fashion plays a bigger role in society than proper carry methods, many women will likely choose the purse for most occasions. Charles, My wife will certainly be interested in this mini-clinic, especially since her "plastic" arr...
