Re: Houston: Don't bring a toy gun to a gun fight

Based on the news article this really seems like a waste of time and money to present this to a grand jury. I realize it is sop but I would think the DA would know, based on the evidence that this will be no-billed. I think you answered your own question. It is S.O.P. I don't know that it's so much...

Does the clerk need to lawyer up when his case is presented to a Grand Jury?

Re: House GOP Leaders on Gun Control

I agree with TAM! I like most of the Tea Party members of Congress. Although I am concerned that Rubio has been compromised. Cruz has done a good job in the short time he has been in the Senate but I will have to wait and see if he can keep it going.
2014 will be a bell weather for the Repubs! IMHO

Re: Numismatics aka Coin collecting

If you think you have any "high grade" coins, and hope to sell them on a mass market venue (such as Ebay or other online sources), the only way to get top dollar for them is to have them graded and slabbed by one of the TOP grading services such as NGC, PGS, PCGS. Just putting it in a 2x2...

Re: Numismatics aka Coin collecting

Inheriting coin collections can be quite a learning experience. Coin dealers will offer between 20-30% less than retail value..... They need to make profit too. There are several books you can buy that will show you how to "photo grade" your coins. This is probably the best one at about $1...

Re: We are being negotiated by few GOP Senators

Why do we have to negotiate new laws when the laws currently on the books are not enforced?
If you want to negotiate something then negotiate how they are going to disarm criminals without affecting law abiding citizens.

Re: Feinstein Gun Control Bill to Exempt Government Official

Maybe our Governor can draft all Texas CHL holders into "A Well Regulated Militia" for the defense of our State?
Of course we may need select fire weapons but I will just keep my AR-15 until it comes in.

Re: White House Considers Funding for Cops in Schools

The White House has found that even many Democrats support the idea of cops in schools. Senator Barbara Boxer told the Post, "If a school district wants to have a community policing presence, I think it’s very important they have it." Ninety percent of large, urban high schools already ha...

Re: White House Considers Funding for Cops in Schools

Ok we give you cops in schools YOU give us AR and Mag ban.....I can see it coming! Some would call that compromise. I would call it a giveaway. Just saying that is what I see coming from the administration. I think Obama has boxed himself into a corner and won't be able to deliver on an AWB and Mag...

Re: If They Come For YOur Guns.....

Since we are talking about being law abiding citizens..... If it ever comes to confiscation I would expect LEO's to obey the oath they swore to the Constitution and not the illegal laws to confiscate!

Re: Hypothetical question IF the Feinstein bill does pass

Clue...2016 Just from the currently announced plans on government spending, it's very unlikely there will be a recognizable USA in 2016. The focus should be on every day of the current month. Agreed, the point I and others have made it that "the silence is deafening" coming out of Austin,...
