Ha, ought to pencil in "no matter what my instructor said" from what I've heard people say instructors told them.

So it sounds like it doesn't have to be but its good for a righteous shooter to get the no-bill.

Re: Houston Self Defense Trial

Yep, being spun as "stand your ground" and tied to Trayvon Martin. Different state, different laws, Rodriguez broke Texas law and faces life in prison. PC 9.31, 9.32, 46.035. Intentionally displayed, no longer legally carrying, so he lost self defense. Provoked the attack, so he lost self ...

Homicide requiers a grand jury?

I bet this is already answered somewhere, I just couldn't find it. The dad killing the child molester brought up the question, but is it really the law that every homicide in texas has to go to the grand jury? I know the DA probably wants to clear the dad in this case with a no-bill, but does he rea...

Preacher I once heard. Pretty cool guy.

If you're pre trib and we can't be marked before the rapture but they're marking us already, does that mean we missed the rapture?

Re: Ban Hidden Compartments in Cars? Ohio

I'll go out on a limb here and say that they use this law as an "add-on". That way, IF they find anything such as drugs in the vehicle, they confiscate and make money on it... you know they don't have to find drugs or charge anyone to seize property y if they want it.Just claim a dog hit ...

Re: VA - Police officer gun "malfunctions"

big city major PD, probably use the same guns from the armory for annual shooting, so they don't "wear out" carry guns.

Sound stupid? I seen it before.

Re: Texas Knife Laws - New Info

You have to remember the Texas laws against carrying a handgun or large knife were created by carpetbaggers. They were specifically designed to disarm the type of men who fought in the First Texas War of Independence and the Second Texas War of Independence 25-30 years later. Hmmmn, really? Interes...

Re: 100 foot rule of elections

Is it just me or does all this make the law seem even more stupid. Schools churches pollin gplaces, who really cares? Nothing special about any of those places, we could all carry guns there if we wanted to but we try to obey the law. Criminals dont' care about the law they carry anyway. Lets quit a...
