Another problem I had with it is that he spends the first several minutes explaining full auto assault rifle v/s semi auto, then at the end of the video asks a retorical question about how do you define an assault rifle... his reply is "I don't know". The contridiction here just hurts my h...

Do you have to have that high of a load bearing table? I mean, how much weight are you putting on that thar table? For years I used an old double sink cutout - the formica made for a great work surface. Then when sizing 243 brass (Match 7.62x51 cases), BAM! I'm now holding up the press in my hand a...

I started reloading in a walk-in closet in a one-bedroom apartment. I used metal workbench legs that I screwed a double sink cutout onto. Used that setup for many many years.

Here is what I just sent... Dear Representative McCall, I write to solicit your support in voting for HB 284 (Relating to the use of force or deadly force in defense of a person) authored by Representative Joe Driver of Garland. The bill is modeled after Florida's landmark law, creating presumptions...

I'm hopeful about these bills because they should remove the threat of termination for an employee found to have a firearm in his vehicle while in the company parking lot. My present company is very uptight about this; my previous company didn't care and in fact had a FFL. This is why I've resisted ...

Sounds like the general consensus is that it is a nogo for large rifle charges. Bummer, I thought it would be the hot thing to simplify reloading for me. I usually load the following: 25-06 w/ H4831 7mm-08 w/ IMR-4064 375 H&H w/ IMR-4064 (these are ~70-80 gr charges) I'm currently using RCBS mea...

Just yesterday I saw a tongue-in-cheek response to this very question by a lawyer in Missouri (Kevin Jamison). The response was posted in his summary of the MO CCW regulations. It said... Anyone seeking to make a test case needs to get a 55 gallon drum. Stuff this drum with hundred dollar bills; cra...

Guys, help me here as I'm confused. Here's what the latest copy of the Penal Code has to say: PC §9.21. PUBLIC DUTY. If deadly force is so justified, there is no duty to retreat before using it. Given that, are we not already "Castle Doctrine" covered? IANAL and I know the law can be comp...

Re: N/W Frisco....

We live in Frisco and since there is little choice of where to shoot unless we want to drive quite a distance we shoot at the Bullet Trap. But, since the two outdoor ranges close to here have shut down we don't get to shoot as much as we would like. Same story here. I'm where Frisco, Allen, ...
