Re: Homeless Man Gives Woman His Last $20

https://pjmedia.com/trending/homeless-man-gives-woman-last-20-raises-hundreds-thousands-repay/ Bobbit recently stepped up to help a literal damsel in distress after Kate McClure ran out of gas. McClure pulled over and got out of the vehicle to walk to the nearest gas station. Bobbit, however, was h...

Re: Ruger .44 Special Blackhawk SS

I bought two Ruger SuperBlackhawks in SS with 4-5/8 barrels about 3 years ago for $1,200 ± with tax.
Last time I priced them the best price was $200-300 higher.

$300 + tax in good to excellent condition sounds good.

Re: Getting my CHL back after DWI Suspension

We were all first-time posters. All good people have done things in the past that they regret. Early on in my posts here I wandered into that country where Charles allows no one to enter. Got my comeuppance, apologized and the next time I messed up, went back and deleted the post myself. Trying to ...

Re: Gun rights for a Felon?

What does 30.06 have to do with the discussion about felonies? If you differ in opinion with the felons not having access to guns that's ok but don't hijack the thread with a trolling comment. Point is the same guys that want to beat the law by not doing the time are no different than those that be...

Re: police/deputies/sherrifs and private communities

update went to see our county commissioner and he then went to see the judge that overseas the commissioners court. this is where i get lost. the judge told him it was a great idea and the only thing that stops the code from being used to help us, is the county is NOT a municipality???? How can a c...

Re: Shooting at Twin Peaks in Waco

All this stems from a group of biker badguys insisting that they have the right to tell others whether they can where the name "Texas" on their clothing. No it about paying, $10,000 per month per Chapter (Bikers safe house), where Kazaks refused to pay. LOL. You need to stop watching bad ...

Re: Gun rights for a Felon?

First I need to say that there has been a gradual creep toward a judicial system that would make King George III proud. The trend has been to elevate far too many misdemeanors to felony status. This should not have happened. I base my comments largely on this fact. I believe: 1. Non-violent felonie...

Re: Anybody in Houston area looking for a well mannered 5 y/o male Black Lab?

I have room, but logistics is a problem. I am in the process of buying a house in the Panhandle and moving from Oklahoma City. We are looking for a dog to keep company with our 10-1/2 year old lab mix who lost his littermate a year ago. A 4-6 year old is just about what we are looking for. Presuming...

Re: A little history lesson

The political parties switched. If you are a republican now, in 1860 you would be a democrat. Or a Whig. The republican party formed in the wake of the Whig party's self-immolation. I wonder what they'll form themselves in to now... Hard to say, but it’s worth noting that for what I believe is the ...

Re: Washington Post fact check on gun laws and gun violence

Speaking of cherry picking data, the Post article ignores Camden and Newark, both in NJ. NJ has some of the most restrictive gun laws in the country and a bleak history of prosecuting otherwise innocent people whose only "crime" is the violation of those gun laws. Granted that in several ...

Re: Straw Man Query

Since he's eligible and legally able to purchase the firearm, and he knows you're giving it to him as a gift, why don't you take him to your FFL, you pay for it and the FFL uses his info on the paperwork? I did that with my daughter last year - I bought her a Springfield XDs 9 for Christmas. We met...
