Re: Tennessee Takes Leadership on Gun Free Zones
If a business owner does something that makes it more likely you will suffer harm and then invites you to come on in, without taking any precautions to mitigate the dangerous situation they created, then you can sue them. That applies to all manner of situations and is not limited to just this case...

Re: Tennessee Takes Leadership on Gun Free Zones
Whatever happened to taking personal responsibility for one's choices? Nobody forces us to do business with places that are posted. I mean why not open it up and let us sue everybody involved from the gun manufacturer on down to the gas station that provided the gas for the car the bad guy drove to ...

Help for a friend
A coworker and friend of mine is faced with the unthinkable. He is burying both his daughter and a granddaughter. No parent should ever have to face this. Any help or prayer is appreciated.

Re: Another casualty of Open Carry
The only advantage I see to OC is comfort. You can dress more comfortably. I see lots of disadvantages, and new we are seeing a lot of backlash. Whether you do it or not isn't important, it's the fact that we can do it. Peoples fears will subside and we will find a new normal . And that "new n...

Re: I now regret that OC passed
It is now, more than ever, in our best interest to increase our population from 5% to a statistically significant number. I believe OC will help with that. Once we represent a statistically significant portion of the population, our shopping habits will matter.

Re: Someone placing 30.07 signs in front of businesses...
Not much to ponder, once it's been said and heard, notice has been given. You can't unhear it. Yes, I am not arguing the mechanics of the notice, just not certain that notice given is 'permanent' or would not be required each time a person entered an establishment that has no sign or a non-complian...

Re: Someone placing 30.07 signs in front of businesses...
The problem is, if you/I make it a point to receive verbal notification in place of an invalid sign, there is a strong possibility that the notice you/I receive will be sufficient to prevent any type of carry forever in that establishment for you/I. Yes Sir, I concede that is a possibility. The lik...

You keep saying they would have to put up compliant signs. No, I keep saying they would need to put up 'compliant' signs in order to avoid the necessary LEGAL 'next step' of informing with respect to force of law. I don't know how to get you to read with more comprehension? I will endeavor to be ab...

Re: Gun trust
As a lawyer I must say, some of what the gun shops are "selling" is crap. Would you trust your car mechanic for medical advice? Of course not. Gun shop staff doesn't equal lawyer. If I had more time, I'd report them all to the unauthorized practice of law committee. Anyways, I would recom...

Whatever you did made the site usable to me on a mobile device. Short of enabling tapatalk this is the best thing you could do for me to continue to use the site.
