Re: Remington moving 2k jobs to Alabama
Isn't this exactly what the progressives in New York wanted? I'm not sure how much of a "victory" this really is......... I don't know that they wanted to run off tax revenue...somebody has to pay for the socialist lifestyle. **snip** :iagree: I'm thrilled that so many gun manufacturers a...

Re: Kahr PM9 question/possible problem
My brand new, not even fired yet CM9 also has that notch in the rail and the bowed sides. I wondered about those bowed sides when I stripped and cleaned it, that must just be how they're made.Keith B wrote:Mine looks identical. Same notches in bottom, notch on rail and bowed sides.

Re: American Rifle and Pistol Association: BEWARE
Found this on their website: http://amriflepistol.com/confessions-of-a-former-maig-supporter/ It is allegedly an interview with their Chairman, but it feels pretty slick to me. The wording seems very carefully crafted to portray NRA members (or anyone who might question this new group's legitimacy) ...

Re: Ruger p95
I love my P95 and have thought about trying it as EDC. Mec-Gar makes nice 17 round magazines that fit flush, I actually like those better than the 15 round Ruger mags.
I haven't looked into holster possibilities for the P95 - anyone have suggestions?

Re: NRA Life Upgrade - Now Without Sponsor
Just wanted to bump this thread with the following additional information. I received the below link in the AR15.com newsletter today.. It's a direct link to a no-sponsor-needed $300 NRA Life Membership enrollment page. I clicked on the link and it took me to an official NRAHQ membership page with ...

Re: Bought a Rem 870 clone

Re: Senate may abandon 21-vote rule to pass budget; why not
Senators are now considering abandoning the 2/3rds rule/tradition in order to pass a budget. On Wednesday, the Senate DID abandon the 2/3rds rule and passed the budget, according to an article in the Thursday Dallas Morning News. (Sorry, not providing a link because you have to be a subscriber to r...

Re: Articles about zaffrini cutting off nose to spite face
Are there any crime bills that SB 354 could be attached to as an amendment? To me that would highlight the most important aspect of campus carry, namely that it is a personal security, anti-crime measure. :iagree: The remaining higher ed bills are either: A) better acceptance of credits of non-trad...

Re: HB681/SB321 Parking Lots Bill is on the Floor
The text of SB321 says it takes effect September 1, 2011, I guess there's a small chance it could change in these final steps before it becomes law but I can't imagine why it would.quidni wrote:When does it go into effect?
