Re: Walther PPK .380
We used to own a Bersa thunder 9mm compact pro...traded as son as we could based on the jams every 2 bullets so bersa is already out of the question. I say once junk always junk. My Bersa Thunder 380 has never had a malfunction. It is more accurate with some brands of ammo than other brands. WInche...

Re: Luzerne County Pennsylvania - 1 in 9 Conceal Carry
My first carry license was in Pa back in 1967. If I recall correctly it took less than a week through the county sheriff. No pics, just a card with hand written information on it. Was only good for one year. I don't recall the cost. We sure have come a long way. ;) Think I still have that card aroun...

It's to far away for me to use, but tell them thanks from another Vet. I have friends in that area and will recommend the place to them.

Re: Reciprocal and Unilateral
Had to return my Maine liscense to the Chief of Police of the town I lived in after I sold the house there and moved back to Texas in 2005. I may consider the non-resident set -up eventually. I don't remember a non resident being an option when I was up there. I usually only go there for a couple of...

Re: Reciprocal and Unilateral
Is there anything we can do to incourage a reciprocal agreement or even a unilateral recognition of a particular state. I have an occasional need to travel to Maine and have held a CHL there, but Tx. and Me. don't recognise each other.

Re: Bersa 380 Shoots like a dream
I've had no malfunctions what so ever with mine. It does not seem to like some older Winchester USA ball ammo I have. No malfunctions, just not as accurate as others I've used. Other than that it's a favorite shooter.

Stolen gun listings???
Is there an on line clearing house that would show listings of guns REPORTED stolen (brand, model and S/N)? I see a lot of guns at flea markets and would like to have a way of verifying before buying.

Re: Looking for a place to shoot in NE Tex
We used to have Tom Bean range and was closed last year. No words when it will open again. I miss that place. Yeah I saw the delapidated sign out there on hwy 11. But couldn't get anything else. The one on US380 between McKinney and Princeton closed about the same time. Someone said he was having t...

Looking for a place to shoot in NE Tex
I'm looking for a place to shoot handguns in the area between McKinney to Bonham and Whiteright to Greenville areas. We have a new 100 - 500 yard rifle range near by, but they do not have a pistol range yet. Many of the local land owners are reluctant to let anyone shoot in areas where they have cat...
