Re: OCT Pro-Gun or Pro-Gun Control?

My dislike for OCT just keeps growing. What's their beef? "Their" open carry bill has no support so they are going to torpedo all the other efforts in the pipeline for this legislature? :banghead:

Re: Call-To-Action: HB2405 Gutting TPC §30.06

Got in touch with everyone but Nevarez and Wray. I'll send them a note later. All were very pleasant, but Joe Moody's aide gave me a long dissertation about how he will listen carefully to the testimony before he makes a decision. She did affirm that she is receiving a lot of calls opposed.

Re: HB 910 (OC) Committee debate - Now

I have spoken with many CHL holders who wish they did not remove the renewal training requirement. Unless every CHL holder stays on top of new legislation they have no idea of what changes have been made and the renewal classes provided this information. CHL instructors are looking for new ways to ...

Re: House Bill 2918

Disgusting bill. Police need to be able to be observed and documented by people as long as they do not interfere with their duties. There's no need to put a distance limit. Just let a jury decide if someone was actually interfering or simply observing. :iagree: Recording an event does not impede a ...

Re: HB 56 filed with text

It deletes 30.06, adds 30.07 with same requirements as current 30.06 with open carry. This is baaaaad!!! I don't have a problem with the creation of the 30.07 sign since it only applies to OC. But when will these jokers learn to LEAVE 30.06 ALONE!?!?!? :banghead: :iagree: This is not a good bill.

Re: Anti-NRA Marchers -- political power display

I wonder if the thieves in Houston are thinking, "Finally! 66 unarmed people near the George R Brown center this weekend!" According to the info on the NRA convention web page, CHL's are welcome at the convention center. Those protesters will likely be pretty popular with the local crimin...

Re: TX - duty to retreat?

It is similar, in what it is trying to accomplish (gut the Castle Act) as SB 1349

http://www.capitol.state.tx.us/tlodocs/ ... 01349I.htm

Both are very bad bills. Why is no one paying attention?
