MIM parts
When I got my TRS and held it next to the Kimber, it was like night and day.
I MIM parts. (But I have to admit, I have never had one break.)

The felon thing came along because any of those two people that strated this discussion, may or may not have been prior felons. It is in the way our system is set up. Ofter times an officer will tell dispatch to stamp a complaint for UCW but it is really going to be Felon in Poss.... Anyway, I enjoy...

DiverDn, I think I have an extra Fobus (though I have said I wouldn't even give one to my worst enemy). I will check. As for your wife, there are several places that make holsters just for women. The only one I can recall off-hand is DelFatti. I think Garrity (sp?) also makes a holster for women. My...

I think KB and I found something we agree on. I have never understood why a DL from TX is honored in NY, but not a CHL. I have always said I hate federal gun laws. If H Clinton and Chuck Shumer have a problem with the people in NY having guns, then so be it, but don't tell us in Texas how we need to...

Good Lord, I am all over the place on this!! I found myself arguing with another officer tonight that if you meet the presumption of travelling, you are off limits.  It should also be remembered that just because a complaint was stamped for UCW, does not mean it was not filed as being a...

I would not put a buffer in as they can come apart when you don't want them to. I had one in a gun at one time and found I could not get the slide to go forward on a mag change by pulling the slide to the rear. I could only get it to go forward by pushing down on the slide lock (again, not a good id...

I have not come upon this situation, but I would suggest, that you wait until the officer comes to the window and explain the situation. I know I would be much more understanding on that, than if I were to walk upon you and you were digging in your purse for DL and had to move the heater out of the ...

Good points all, though grey areas and officer discretion are good things. Now, what we need in order to have all this non-sense stop to increase the the criteria for travelling. If, for instnace you have been convicted of any sort of Misd A or B in the last 5 or 10 years, it would disqualify. That ...
