Re: Major advancements for Texas CHL holders

I predict, the cost of classes after September 1 will be driven not but instructor desires but by the market, just as it is now...... supply and demand.....

I'd like to know why a 'rescue' vehicle needs to be armored. Wouldn't a van carry rescuers and gear just as well?

High speed automated voting that will also occur tomorrow night just before the polls close?

Re: Please vote for Marion Hammer in this NEXT poll

I just checked my Internet Explorer history and I have been to this rounds vote page 842 times. Sometimes insomnia can be a good thing. I gave up at midnight last night. Must have had a 100+ with 4 screens going. Today she's been holding in the low 60s today. Need too watch for the opposition to su...

Re: Selling handgun - documentation?

No apologies needed on my end. I was just wanting to make sure nobody thinks I was questioning their commitment to the RKBA. I believe most of us spending time on this web site have nothing but the best of intentions when it comes to the subject of the second amendment. We may not always agree on h...

Re: Selling handgun - documentation?

However, if somebody springs the BoS requirement on me at the last minute, they are not dealing in good faith, to borrow a phrase from earlier in the thread. Completely agree. We don't have to agree on any 'requirement' each may have to close the sale, but we should agree we disagree before we meet...

Re: Selling handgun - documentation?

Then the conversation turns to we dont appreciate the RKBA if we ask for ID or a bill of sale. I can't find a single post where anyone said what you just posted. I know for a fact I never said that. I believe (fall on sword) I may have erroneously inferred that from what I perceived as the 'tone' i...

Re: Selling handgun - documentation?

The OP asked our opinion on how to complete the sale of a gun. It was answered with several different ways to handle the sale giving him options. These range from just a change of money to FFL. But they are just that, options. Then the conversation turns to we dont appreciate the RKBA if we ask for...

Re: Selling handgun - documentation?

My only point was that by adding restrictions to private party sales that don't exist by law, we are in essence admitting the laws are not strict enough. :cheers2: No, we (some of us) are admitting we don't trust our government and we believe a piece of paper, a bill of sale, may be useful to posse...
