Re: Questions about the AR Red Dot Sights

Well, the vortex strikefire was my second option. Both the strikefire and this bushnell, (going for about 150 each respectively) and I think it was a toss up. Supposedly, the bushnell is better quality, but the Vortex had a much better warranty. Decision...decisions..

Re: I Crossed Over to the Darkside

Welcome to the dark side of a fantastic and reliable sidearm, that, egads, actually holds more than 7 rounds! You may come across those who think a pistol must be over 100 years old, er....99, to be a fine and reliable weapon. Good choice.

Questions about the AR Red Dot Sights

http://www.bushnell.com/products/scopes/riflescopes/reddot/730132P/ I'm finding fairly good reviews on this. Anyone mess with one? Just bought a S&W M&P Carbine AR, optics ready, and now I'm a bit cash poor. I'd love an ACOG, but not yet. I was planning to use this a bit on my AR, and then ...

So today my non gun loving wife wife asked me...

Do you think that corner filled with guns and ammo is too heavy for the foundation? I cannot express the pride I felt at that moment. I've nearly got enough. (not really), I need another ton!

Re: Need a hunting rifle, need advice

I think the consensus is largely the 270 is probably the best all around for what I plan to hunt, (mostly whitetails) and I sure appreciate all the advice. I'll pick it up, thrown a 3x9 leupold on it, and report back! Thanks guys.

Need a hunting rifle, need advice

I've just read the article in guns an ammo about the new savage edge, apparently a very accurate rifle chambered in 223 Rem, 22-250, 243 Win, 25-06, 270 Win, 7mm-08, 308 Win, 30-06 Springfield, with a MSRP of 329. Street prices for the nicer one with a bushness 3x9 is 270! I only own one rifle that ...

I don't ever get into these stupid fight with Libs. You can't convert them or reason with them. Don't spend your hard earned time trying it. Let 'em go and put a sign in your yard that reads that you will not defend your neighbor with your guns. :fire Arguing with a lib is fruitless. Even if you wi...

Re: I practically stole this gun!

Note, I shot this weapon at PSC last weekend, it is about to replace my favorite SKS's and AK47's as my favorite. It's like popcorn compared to 7.62x39, and dead on accurate with great groupings. Recoil and accuracy similar to .223/5.56 at +- 100 yards, I love this rifle. And....very accurate with i...

Re: Thousand dollar safe opened in under 2 minutes. VIDEO

I have a $1000 or so safe. That one is not a $1000 safe IMO. Looking at the edges of the door, it looks like the metal is pretty thin. Also, it only has a few and rather small locking lugs that didn't appear to stick out from the door very far. Mine appears much more robust by comparison. Regarding...

Cheapest 7.62x39 in years available

Well, its not 2002 prices when a case was sub 100 bucks, but it is the cheapest I've seen in 3 or 4 years. Just checked the mail and got the catalog, and its already sold out. However, I'm still posting as I called them and they expect re-stock shortly. brass, berdan, 1970's yugo, corrosive. 900 rou...

Spoke to the owner of the website, he believes it was a Liberty safe.
