Re: TSA Precheck
With your frequent travel do you have status with any of the airlines at DFW? You may be able to get it easier that way. Not sure how it works now, but as Ex Plat with AA I was signed up automatically and just notified. Regarding the walk up, if it is anything like Global Entry they will ask you th...

TSA Precheck
Since I travel quite a lot of work I figured I would sign up for TSA Precheck at DFW Airport. I made an appointment but as usual it is not until end of August, it was the soonest available. I read somewhere that this week it is moving outside the secure area at the D terminal so I can do a walk-in i...

Re: Question about transporting alcohol
When I transport any type of alcohol (beer, wine etc) in my extended cab truck it is always on the rear bench seat behind me. I am not putting that in the bed of the truck as I don't have a cover on it and opportunistics (if that is even a word) would quickly grab it at a light something.

Seeking advice: Flight AA DFW-PHX w/CHL
I am hoping someone here can pass some wisdom my way as this will be the first time for me traveling by air with a firearm. Most of my business travel takes me to New England and the foreign county of California so I never bother to take my EDC with me since I won't be able to carry it and probably ...

Re: First time to carry on body!!
I had that feeling for about three or four months after getting my CHL... now I am like an old man who does not care if he is seen is in tighty whities, I just go with the flow. But seriously now I completely forget there is something either on my hip, pocket or calf.

Re: FAA Medical Exam - Thinking of getting my PPL
Not a big fan of the sport license... I think you are limited to daylight hours only, one passenger at a time and if I am not mistaking there are airplane type requirements.i8godzilla wrote:Look at the requirements for Sport Pilot. I do not believe there is a medical component.

FAA Medical Exam - Thinking of getting my PPL
I hope some of you may have some info here for me... about six years ago I started my training for a private pilot license and accumulated just short of 32 hours in a 172 toward the requirement when the prices to rent a plane and gas went sky high and I basically had to stop due to college and gener...

Nope it will not. I think what they do is prevent you from renewing your registration if this is not paid... someone correct me if I am wrong here.

I happen to agree with this gentleman ,we (as in legal gun owners) are doing this to ourselves.
I don't think I've seen this posted yet but if it has, my apologies.

To be honest that looks perfectly fine to me, even though I know you are carrying a firearm there it looks nothing like it. I wouldn't even give a second look there.

You are in the correct neighborhood right around there. The crock inlay drove the price up the most.BigBangSmallBucks wrote:Wow that's a beaut, it must've cost a pretty penny. If I had to guess I'd say $225ish?

Just got my holster from Hopp... 11 month wait is worth it!
Well just got it in, basically it is a regular holster IWB/OWB with some croc inlay to give it that extra zing and he gave it a weathered and rustic look... almost like wood veneer. To be honest after holding it in my hand I am not going to wear this holster, it is waaaaay to pretty and just plain a...
