I too like the larger calibers. However, for occasions when I don't want the full size 1911, I bought a Polish P64 (9x18 Mak) from J&G for $150 - replaced the hammer and recoil spring and made a new trigger return spring for it. IMHO - the little P64 is one of the best values out there right now...

I do like the guns - especially old ones :mrgreen: Rifle and pistol shooting are my favorite. I love to tinker with guns - it really is an addiction, isn't it??
