Re: 30.06 Valid?

So heading towards Brownfield on Indiana and near the stadiums where 4th meets Brownfield??? Yes, if heading south on Indiana, there is a sign on the west just before you get to the Tech freeway. If heading north, there is a sign on the east side of Indiana just before the Brownfield highway. There...

Re: 30.06 Valid?

I was at University Medical Center at the Texas Tech University Campus the other day. The hospital is not located on the campus. They had a 30.06 on the bottom of a glass sliding door entrance to the ER. The letters were 1" and in white text. It was hard to read with the sun glaring off the gl...

They card you for fuel additives? Sheesh. BTW, it's now harder to buy over-the-counter allergy remedies than heroin, and takes longer. - Jim And typewriter correction fluid, and magic markers, and all kinds of paint, and a whole lot of other things that are every-day useful products. I have both an XD 45 and M&P in .40. I like them both, and both are naturals as far as feel and aim.

I give a slight edge to the XD, but only slight. But thats just my subjective opinion, worth exactly what you paid for it.

So I figure if you are injured, or a condition is aggrivated by the actions of a LEO, you're just going to have to wait to get your day in court... I agree entirely, and stress this when I am teaching. However, I also know that its easy to say something like this when we're in a classroom or behind...

Well, back in the 60s on of our town cops used to hang a 30 sign over the 40 sign at the edge of town and bust people on radar (the old kind that sat by the side of the road on a camera tripod) and the tickets would read "10mph over posted speed." When I was in grad school, in Kansas City...

Yes, both the house I'm in now and the previous one have a deadbolt (lever on the inside) between the garage and the living area.

And both deadbolts were installed directly below a 2 ft. square single strength window in the door.........pretty pointless security-wise.

The TCHA had a booth at the Bryan show this past weekend. I inquired about the status of the proposed merger. I was told that TCHA had decided they would rather keep their identity and focus on concealed carry. Yes, I was there for the board meeting and the members meeting. An interesting discussio...

You are correct Graybeard, but I always thought of the exemption for depredation as if the birds are eating/harming one's crops, etc., not pooping on a sidewalk. I know they are frustrating. I have been hit by them before too. You are correct, here are the guidelines per the 2005-2006 TPW outdoor a...

Has anyone else run into a problem with TexasOnline? I tried for two days to log in and start my instructor's renewal, but everytime I'd get through the address/information screens the whole thing would lock up and say there was a site error and to call technical assistance. I finally got fed up and...

Anyone here a member? If so, what's your take on the proposed merger with TSRA? Did TSRA approve this at the meeting last week? I can't find anything on the TxCHIA website, but thought maybe some of you might know.

Re: Photo for CHL

The camera wasn't working at my CHL renewal class, so I had passport photos taken at Walgreens. It appears that the photographer stood to close as the face is larger than my actual passport photo. What are the various size requirements for the photo? Is there a white border around the photo, etc? I...
