Re: Question about btu/hr and kW/hr calculation
Quantum bulbs, you guys are great! We only let one store have a bulb for a week then they have to share... No, 60 bulbs in EACH location is correct. And yes, I'm having to do the homework for them. Can't complain, though, it's actually my job. Kind of a "paralegal" of the energy maintenanc...

Re: Question about btu/hr and kW/hr calculation
Thanks for all the great replies. The 1kW=3412btu/hr is what I was looking for. I guess I didn't make myself clear, what I have to do is have all the numbers ready for the engineer to approve, MR16 vs flourescent vs LED comparison weighing cost vs. bulb life, light levels at given distance, wattage,...

Question about btu/hr and kW/hr calculation
Funny question here. I'm working on some calculations for going from 50W halogen light bulbs to 5W flourescent light bulbs for commercial buildings. I need to sell the idea to my boss. No problem on calculating the actual energy savings, that's okay. My question relates to how can I calculate the am...

Re: Shotgun shell question
And they are Remington shells. Forgive my shotshell ignorance, but I didn't know non-crimped shells existed?
Anyhoo, I've got another 50 rounds or so of Remington left, after patterning some Winchester shells I've decided to switch to them.

Okay, good information! Thanks for the help there, fella's.
Good tip, Greybeard. Guess I'll be sealing up a few shotgun shells in the near future.

Shotgun shell question
Took my HD shotgun out yesterday for some fun and re-familiarization. I noticed when I unloaded the 00 buck shells, there was tiny white beads all over the inside of the shotgun, found that these beads are leaking out of a the business end of a couple of the 00 buck shells. What is this stuff? Surel...

Nice setup! I'm loving my MTAC as well, only had it a little over a week.
In addition to a top notch holster, CompTac's gun belts are second to none! Highly recommended.

Opinions on ATI stocks for SKS?
Has anyone had any experience using an ATI Monte Carlo stock on an SKS? http://www.atigunstocks.com/p-78-sks-monte-carlo-stock.aspx I'm looking for a stock for my SKS that's slightly longer that the original, a little more comfortable and ergonimic than the original wood, but without going "Bub...
