Flying to FL on AA
Flying to sunny FL on AA soon. I've never packed a firearm before. Read all of the regulations and it says locked in a "hard-sided" case. Would the hard-plastic case my XD came in qualify as a proper hard-case? If I took the flexible gun lock and wrapped it around the handle and locked it ...

I heard the Army was issuing these, but with a NATO band:
Bwahahaha They'd probably be overrun by enlistees.

If it's going from a TX address to a TX address, try LoneStar Overnight. It'll get done WAY cheaper and with a lot less hassle. Downside is that you'll need to drop it off at their offices, they won't come to you for a firearm.

Re: Car Sales: 2 Week Update
Eventually, you'll have to watch "Glengarry Glen Ross". It's a great movie (adapted from a play) with an incredible cast and rich dialogue. . . but it seems nobody can appreciate it like a salesman. (Extreme language warning, but if you're in sales, it's nothing you're not hearing around ...

Why do they want an AWB?
To keep us from shooting these down: The FAA is required by a law enacted a year ago to develop sites where civilian and military drones can be tested in preparation for integration into U.S. airspace that's currently limited to manned aircraft. The law also requires that the FAA allow drones wide a...

Re: Audience pulse: Reactions to the State of the Union
AEA, where did you pull this from? From the site it was on. I participated thru the whole thing, hitting "Strongly Disagree" or whatever it was as often as possible thru the entire speech as I knew everything he said about anything would be lies. Looks like I was correct in my assumption....

Re: Audience pulse: Reactions to the State of the Union
I get lied enough to daily. Decided to go read comics and find the end of the internet instead of having him tell me how wrong I am without showing proof he does any better than me. Not hateful in my approach, just want a leader. I am refusing to look at any of the news media ...except Dennis Mille...

How do Americans feel about the State of the Union?
USA Today (yes, I can't stand them either) asked social media users for a single word to describe the State of the Union. The following crowd-sourced graphic was compiled from that data. The larger the word, the more responses contained that word. http://www.gannett-cdn.com/media/USATODAY/theOval/20...

Fleming's, DiMassi's,Jersey Mike's and Pappadeaux. Last I went to a Chili"s five years ago they smothered my Monterrey Chicken with ketchup. Haven't been back. Chili's where I used to reside in NJ put Alfredo sauce on my chicken-fried steak. Went back the next week, they did it again. I never ...

Re: TSA refused CHL for ID
I've traveled by air for over 27 years (USA, Canada and Mexico). 2.3 million miles just on American Airlines alone. I've been reading all of the posts with great interest. I know sometimes the TSA can be a bit "misinformed" and a bit of a PITA at times. I also read that sometimes you folk...

Re: Law on your side?
. . . . Something often missed by folks is the tremendous impact that our version of the "Castle Doctrine Bill" (SB378 - 2007) had on self-defense . . . . ... when you are trying to prevent certain violent crimes. .... Hopefully, this will be covered fully in your CHL class. I vividly rem...

Re: Carry at church during high school sporting event?
If it's a school sponsored event (and it certainly sounds like it is), then it's not legal to carry there unless you have written permission. Careful. 46.035 regarding high school sporting events does NOT have a provision for written permission. No, but 46.03 does. Possible conflict in the law? No....
