Yeah, I’d seen where they were hiring for it, but finally drove past the location today at lunch.

Re: TX: Horrible interstate pileup on ice near Fort Worth - 6 dead

I came over 35 and saw the southern-most end of this wreck on my way in this morning after taking a detour through downtown FW to avoid the big up and overs ramps. I then watched a portion of the video (shot from the opposite lanes) as 18 wheeler after 18 wheeler slammed into the pile. Knowing what ...

***SOLD***WTS: Glock 43x w/night sights in W Fort Worth ($550)

Looking to sell this 43x I picked up about a year ago. It had 50 rounds through it right after I bought it and has sat in the safe since. Has Glock factory night sights and includes everything as it came from the factory (box, etc.). Also includes a Tulster IWB holster. Please let me know if you hav...

No, permit remains for both in-state and out-of-state residents who are interested.

Re: How to move Gun safe

As stated several times it all depends on size and dimensions. Of my two one is over 1000 lbs empty and a bear to handle. Even then though it’s doable on carpet with sliders under it. The smaller one in the closet is ~775 lbs but it had several tight corners and a stretch of tile to transit. In both...

Lynn’s an interesting dude isn’t he?

I shoot out there with a buddy (it’s too far if a drive for me to be a member) a couple times a year. If he would just do something about the water it’d be a great range. That qualm aside I enjoy the bays and ability to shoot steel on most.

CC is no issue as I’ve done that many times. I seem to remember a few OCing last time I was there but I’m not 100% certain. It’s not posted that I’ve ever seen.

Can’t speak for all of them but I can tell you my Aero BCG in my 12.5” SBR’d build has been flawless. Very well made and priced right. Overall I’m a big fan of Aero products.

Re: ND at the gun club today during monthly pistol match

At the end of a string of fire an older gentleman (who has shot these numerous times before) was instructed to drop his mag and show clear. Instead he dropped his mag and immediately went back to re-holster his firearm. As was doing so a portion of his "race gun" holster somehow got insid...

Re: ND at the gun club today during monthly pistol match

Am I the only one surprised that anyone is still shooting pistol matches given the current price of ammo (that you can actually get)? If you are not lucky enough to find it in stock at a retailer, then the going price seems to be over 50 cents per round for basic 9mm FMJ ammo. When I shoot IDPA mat...

Re: Recommendations for a good retention holster for Ruger SR9c

Are you looking for leather or kydex/plastic? Also, inside the waistband (IWB) or outside the waistband (OWB)? As far as retention goes my first stop when looking for a retention holster is almost always Safariland. Looks like they have two iterations of the GLS (Grip Lock System) holster for the SR...

Re: OR: 13 yo dies trying to save grandmother from wildfire

Very sad indeed. I understand that these fires can cover some ground quickly, but man seems like you’d really have stuff ready to buy out vs. waiting till it was too late.
