Submitted 8am this morning.
Nothing on my checklist except a note that they will try to use my fingerprints on file, but if they do not meet current quality standards I have to go get new ones. They will contact me if I have to get new ones.

Re: Public library attached to high school
I was back out there today. 1. It's a small east Texas town. 2. Originally it was a school library. Recently it became both (a word I heard a lot today) a public and the school library. It's open till 7pm most days and Saturday. It's staffed by TEA (education) librarians and public librarians. The s...

It's a scam. There is no gun. Once they get your cc, they're done with you.

Public library attached to high school
The buildings are physically attached. Theres a main entrance to the library but another entrance/exit that physically opens into the high school.
The school is posted 30.06 but the library has a weapons free sign.
Could you legally carry in the library?
Could you, but on weekends only?

Re: This is gonna be very interesting
I agree. It's sad, yes, but the fact is, at the end of the day there are two presidential candidates. If you vote for Wally Weinerschnitzel from the Whoopeekipperedherring Party, you're throwing away a vote, and most likely helping the wrong person get elected. It's a classic case of principle vs. ...

Re: Early Voting
When I presented my DL and voter registration card, both in good order with my current address on them, the clerk asked me to say my address. She claimed they were trained to ask that very unnecessary question. Did that happen to anyone else or is it just a Dallas County thing where you have to tel...

Re: Grapevine mills mall gun friendly 1/1/16?
Not sure if anyone has posted an update for this or if a different thread was made, but I went to Grapevine Mills mall to pick up my girlfriend from work (was sick and severely dizzy, couldn't drive herself). According to one of the private (?) Security guards here, the entire property is private a...

Re: Medical Facilities
Not all medical facilities post. We had to go to an office we'd never been to before last week for a procedure for my wife. It's on the border of Plano and Richardson. I just assumed it would be posted, so I disarmed in the car. I drove by the main entrance, but the view was some what obstructed, so...

Re: Netflix- I'm about to get fed up
It's been a while since I watched that episode but remind me what was the issue? I kinda remember rolling my eyes at the time but can't recall why - did they maybe gloss over the background check? It's not illegal to sell a gun to someone with Down's Syndrome, is it? It's been awhile but if I recal...

Re: Person hit by gunshot at Red's Indoor Range in Pflugerville has died
Suicide is such a common thing at ranges that both ranges I use won't let you rent a gun unless you've shot your own gun on a prior visit.
Suicide was the one word answer when I asked about the policy.

Re: Work carry VS off work carry
I work in education. Primary job forbids carry. Part-time job allows it. At the part time job, I bring the gun that best conceals in the clothes I am wearing that day. If it is the full-size, I bring that. If it is the pocket revolver, I bring that. Train with all of them and hopefully capacity won'...
