"Almost" 2A Supporters
So, if one agrees with CC, but not OC....is it possible to be a partial 2A supporter? In other words....can someone support 2A rights....but only to a certain extent...i.e. not exercising 2A rights that might make others "uncomfortable"? I'm curious, because I think you're either all in, o...

Re: My view on open carry
I know people who are actually getting ready for open carry by getting a nice "show" handgun and holster. Their words...not mine. They're looking forward to actually showing off their gun and holster...to whom I'm not sure. :???: Hey Countryside....do you look down on these folks? I'm ask...

Re: Let's see your open carry rigs
Don't know that I'll open carry here at home, but when I'm at the ranch this will be my new sidearm...and if I happen to go to the hamburger joint or feed store, it may not come off..... Ruger SP101, .357, 4.25", crown/cylinder/trigger/spring work, wood grips, and a nice holster my daughter got...

Re: Texas' Open Carry Concerns
Businesses are apprehensive about open carry in Texas because of OCT, OCTC, CATI, etc. The stunts they pulled in advance of and during the legislative session was a PR nightmare for gun rights. Add in a complicit media that was all too happy to show hours of video of "all of those yahoo gun nu...

Re: Texas' Open Carry Concerns
I saw none....but my point is that ZERO places we visited had "no gun" signs. Yet, here we are in Texas with multiple places posting .07. Tennessee proves they're not needed (in my mind) as do many other states.
Peace.

Re: Who runs hospitals in Texas? Antigun leftists?
Private property rights are overwhelmingly supported on this forum you will find out. ....selectively. It seems it's ok for the government to tell us what we can do with our property, how to build, where to build, type of construction, and who you must provide service to, etc. But don't let governm...

Texas' Open Carry Concerns
I just got back from a week in Tennessee, where concealed carry and open carry are both allowed by law if you are licensed. I went in a lot of stores and restaurants (100+) during my visit, and didn't see ONE "no guns allowed" sign. Even at a Jared's I walked past. Not ONE! Why is everybod...
