So, where does this all go now?
My head is spinning from reading all the different threads here, and on other websites. Charles, you're closer to this than anyone. Can you share what your instinct tells you will happen with these bills, possible timelines, etc? I know you don't have a crystal ball, but I think you've been such a l...

Re: Need some advice on printing. And accidental exposure
A couple of weeks back, I got ready for church. Jeans, belt/Galco OWB with XDm in holster, then put on a sport coat. Went out to driveway, took sport coat off, hung in back seat of truck. Went to Kolache factory. Yep, jacket still in truck. I was in there ten minutes, full size XDm on my belt. Nobod...

Re: Greg Abbott and OC
My biggest concern is what OC may do to impact CHL. Could OC somehow lead to the end of 30.06 and make it easier for places to ban guns? Could it spell out more restrictions? In a word, NO. We'd kill the bill if it hurt concealed-carry. But that won't be necessary and I wish I could say more. Chas....

Re: Question while traveling
I would suggest you go out and buy a fanny pack for the trip. Gun stays on you COMFORTABLY, all the time. Yea, they're kinda dorky, but you don't have to wear it out in public if you don't want to. However, this keeps the gun clearly under your control.
That's what I'd do....

Clear opening in the chain of custody and inability to prove condition in which he accepted the rifle.
I'd ignore him.
He's not suing anyone.

Re: Houston Rodeo BBQ Cookoff
We entered on Kirby, the entrance closest to the Stadium. They were wanding at this entrance....and it was quiet hilarious to hear all the "beep...beeeep...beep.....go ahead" going on. It keyed on my knife, my keys, and on my belt buckle...and they didn't frisk or stop me. They have a sign...

Curious: County owned property, not a professional sporting event....how can they legally keep CHL'ers out?

Ok...well....thanks for the explanation.
Like you JMRA, I sure hope that folks aren't associating O.C. with "Podunk", "backwoods", etc....as if those monikers mean that the folks from these places are any less smart than folks from the "big city".

Just east of Baton Rouge. Don't remember the name of the town, but it was on I-10.
