Re: Armed Antifa at Roanoke’s drag show

I also saw mention of them being over the capacity limit at one point (I think it was the owner posting on facebook where he said that in a bragging way)...all it takes is for the Roanoke Fire Marshall to come in and shut it down if they truly are over the legal capacity as it's a safety issue.

Re: Armed Antifa at Roanoke’s drag show

From the owner (on facebook): Anderson Distillery and Grill UPDATE: We did not hire or pay for security services from the Elm Fork John Brown Gun Club for this event. They were present of their own volition and cooperated with us to peacefully make sure our patrons and performers remained safe from ...

Re: Opinions on AR- or AK-format Semiauto Shotguns?

I've got a Citadel BR99 12 ga. The pic shows it with the 10 round mag. I have yet to shoot it, I have cycled it / tested for function though. Hope to shoot it someday soon. :tiphat: The 10-rounder isn't tiny by any stretch of the imagination, but it seems reasonably manageable and swappable. You co...

Re: Shooting on your own land in Cass County, TX

If this plan all goes according to the way I hope it will, my first purchase will be a tractor with a bucket (maybe a backhoe?)...gotta level a pad for the 5th wheel, make sure it has a nice access road, a great berm for the range, dig ditches for power / water access, etc...I've never thought about...

Shooting on your own land in Cass County, TX

Anyone here live in / have property in Cass County, TX? The wife and I are noodling around getting some raw/undeveloped land (50 acres or so hopefully) to have some fun with, she's got family in the area. So - the question for y'all that may know - any issues / restrictions with shooting / setting u...

Re: 2022 assault Weapons Ban

FWIW, I’m not "transferring" any of mine…not in this climate. I foresee some tragic boating accidents. Oh, and we’re looking at buying an old but good condition Bridgeport mill, so we can "make stuff" if we want to. Even used, a Bridgeport can set you back a penny or two. And th...

Re: Stopping an active shooter - 40 Yard Handgun Shots

A buddy and I were talking about shooting at distance a few years back, he said that he regularly practiced at 50 yards with his pistol and hit a 12"x12" steel plate...I had never done this and without calling him a liar I did... :biggrinjester: ...being the good sport that he is he took m...
