I hold mine just like any other rifle. All the cool "operator" types are using the Chris Costa extended over hand reach. Apparently it helps you to "drive" the rifle.

Looks to be an 1849 Pocket Revolver. The grip screw is throwing me off though. So is the cylinder, it looks too big for the frame and there is no forcing cone. It looks similar to a Colt Walker.
