Re: I-45 On-Ramp (Gulf Fwy)
And just for the record, passing on the right is illegal if the car in front you is doing the speed limit. This is because that car in front may also be trying to pass but is doing so at the posted speed limit. Wrong. No, that is correct. Ok, let's play. Show me the law. No, but since you are insis...

Re: I-45 On-Ramp (Gulf Fwy)
Black & white traffic signs are regulatory, i.e. the law. Speed limit signs are in black & white. So you're happy to break both the speed law and the passing lane law, but you're going to get mad at people who exceed the speed limit more than you like? And before you start telling us how th...

Re: I-45 On-Ramp (Gulf Fwy)
Drivers are getting more audacious everyday. The speeder-weaver-tailgater is the animal I hate the most. These guys pass on the right and slalom through traffic putting everybody else at risk. If you're getting passed on the right, then shouldn't you have moved over? It is illegal to impede traffic...

Re: showing game warden chl / current viral video discussion
One of the problems I have with these videos is that the people are not truly up on the law. Many times they are correct, but not always. They also confuse the term detention with arrest and under investigation. Specifically, the current state law in Texas on failure to identify requires you to ide...

That's just not possible. Everyone knows that George Zimmerman got punched and was getting his head pounded into the pavement, but was in no danger at all due to the presence of skittles.

That is a good deal. If it's still around in a month or two, I will be interested. I just can't pull it off right now.

If the city loses, all they have to do is turn it into a tax. Then it's perfectly legal.

Re: Picking up casings at the range
The last time I shot at my local club, a guy next to me had a contraption (looked home-built) that was essentially a screened box with a large opening in the side. His firing position was such that the cases ejected into the box.

Re: Man arrested for scaring Texas movie-goers
I'm glad that you're macho enough to not worry about what looks like a crazy homeless guy walking into a movie theater and finger gunning everyone. I guess the more scaredy cat of us will just have to risk your scorn. :reddevil I'm not showing scorn, I'm simply pointing out that people have differe...

Re: Man arrested for scaring Texas movie-goers
It's a good thing they keep expelling these kids that do finger guns at recess, or that point pop tarts at each other. Those kids should be arrested as well. I mean, we did just have a whole mass shooting in a school thing. We should all be concerned that those kids could follow up their gun fingers...

Or you could flag everywhere you can think of so the data they show will be worthless, esp schools and other gun-free zones.
