Well you could vote for the other guy . :) And didn't Kay Bailey Hutchison say she was going to run against Perry? Strayhorn is the one who couldn't bear to fix our school tax issues by taxing adult industries a bit more because that makes our childrens' school money 'dirty' or some such nonsense. S...

If it remains concealed like it is supposed to I don't see how it is really a problem. If you whip it out to show old Billy Bob then that's a problem. Gun shows have guns and ammo so it's not like a nutcase couldn't combine the two if he really wanted to.

I just went to a Fox and Hound the other day and they had both the 'Unlicensed possession' and the 51% sign up so I emailed them. They responded quickly and had forwarded my concern on to the local branch. I have heard from other people the TABC is pretty quick to take down incorrect signs. Funny th...

Here's an interesting question. We've gone around about a CHL 'most likely' not excluding you from 46.02 (including 'illegal knives' and clubs) because the exception in the statute specifically mentions that you are carrying a gun of your category with valid CHL. However, 'traveling' has always been...

Makes me wonder how it would get reported if it was a citizen with a CHL instead of an officer.

Shouldn't be too much of a problem. I'd recommend getting windshield shades anyways, they are pretty cheap and keep the car temperature lower.

The guns might be hot when you put them back on though!

Perhaps it is a relic of the days before 30.06? Just after the bill was passed maybe and people were using 30.05 to keep CHL'ers out.

Just a theory.

Yup, scary dealings in CA. On top of that this ammunition serialization legislation is moving forward at a startling pace.

Well the rate in DC now is closer to 45 per 100k. That's a pretty old statistic.

Sorry to say it's just an example of cooking the numbers.

Raymond Miller, 26, bought one of Bostic's Hi-Points guns for $350. Ouch. Burned. "Why does someone need 25 guns in one day?" asked Eric Howard, a spokesman for the Washington, D.C.-based Brady Campaign to Stop Gun Violence. Bill of Needs or Bill of Rights? Freedom or Necessity? Arulanand...

If you are receiving it this week then it's already been issued. If it was issued, say, right after your birthday, it would be good for 5 years effectively. The way it works is it's good for 4 years from issue date plus the rest of the year up until your birthday.
