Re: OC Day 8--Still Haven't Seen Any
I'd venture to say that it's a foreign concept to most people and brings about some uneasiness (hence someone wanting to do a group OC on the 1st, because they weren't comfortable doing it alone). I haven't seen any, either. Went to Cabela's and there were probably 20 people in the gun area, and not...

Let's be honest, the chances of these cards getting to management are slim.
A cashier will likely throw them away.

Re: Scope for a 5.56
There really isn't a scope for close quarters out to "a few hundred yards." You have to be realistic about what you want the scope for. A 3-9 or 1-4 variable is fairly versatile but limited in distance. Another option is a magnifier for your red dot.

Not really a fan of owning a bunch of different calibers. I say stock up on ammo and get another 9 or 45.

Re: EOTech "temperature drift"
No one's eotech is ever going to be effected by the temperatures that they're truly rated for. The whole issue was because they lied. A lot of people are sending them back just to get out more money than what they paid for theirs. The company is losing a ton of money on it, but just a small number i...

Re: Family Purchase vs Straw Purchase
A straw purchase would be purchasing a gun and handing it over to someone who is not allowed to own it. Nope. The cop and his uncle were both legally capable of owning and purchasing a handgun where they lived. The only reason they did it the way they did was because the cop got a LE discount. They...

Re: New rifle - Savage 12 LRP in 6.5 Creedmoor
I just received my Ruger precision rifle in 6.5 CM after waiting 4 months. The folding stock is extremely loose, over 1/8" of play at the butt. First response from the Ruger distributor (in Canada) is that this is within Ruger's tolerances. HAH! I have written Ruger directly and am waiting for...
