Re: The 1911 Summer Challenge of 2008...
LT, you're more dedicated than I am, especially when it means at least removing the grips every evening. As heavily as I perspire, any belt carry gets absolutely drenched every summer day. I sweated on my SP101 and wiped it down with my Marine Sentry cloth. Next time I went to carry it, the crane l...

Re: Is lane-splitting legal in Texas?
That's why I drive a two-door car, they are VERY wide when opened and reach across into the other lane!
It irks me to no end when motorcyclist or bicyclist do this. They can wait their time in line just like any other vehicle on the highway.

Ooh Rah Marine!!!
Reminds me of the movie 'Second Hand Lions' with Robert Duvall and Micheal Caine. I love the part where they are eating BBQ, the gang of young punks try to mess with them and Duvall teaches them all a lesson! If you've never seen the movie, it is WELL worth the watch.

Glad to hear it Carl. My Brother-in-law has those patches after he fell and shattered his L2 vertebrate a couple of months ago. Between those and prayer, he is up and able to maneuver, even after having 2 rods attached along 7 vertebrate!
Take care buddy!!

and the faceplate and microphone from a ham radio (not gonna do them any good without the main body) which is about $120 total cost for me to replace. What radio did you have in the car? Have an Alinco DR-610 dual-bander, which is not made any longer, so had to find a used faceplate and microphone,...

Re: Easy pickings for car thieves
Even locked won't stop a lot of kids. My car was broken into about 3 weeks ago. They first tried the drivers window and scratched it. Then pried between what they thought was the door post and windshield, but was actually the sail post and windshield and cracked it in two places. Then they pried 4 p...

Sounds like they mean a wound from a shoot-through.
They also need to proof read better, as they used 'know' instead of 'now'. Spell checker won't catch everything.
