Re: El Paso Saddlery
I’ve always had good luck with El Paso Saddlery, but it helps that I’m right here in town. They’ve never had a reputation for fast service, and it’s possible that COVID and the supply chain have caused further delay. I like their products so, to me, it’s worth the wait.

Re: Another Meme Thread
Just spitballing for a holdover...lessee, call it a 115gr +P JHP at about 1,330 ft/s...in space there's no drag or wind So roughly 11 years, 255 days, 12 hours to make the trip... Meh. A .45 ACP would take 18 years, 116 days, 19 hours, but it would make a bigger hole... But wouldn’t both melt and t...

Re: Stay Warm and Safe the Next Few Days
The areas Texas not covered by ERCOT were barely affected. Most outages were short: minute to a few hours. Very, very interesting. El Paso was one o’ those areas, but it wasn’t as cold and it didn’t last as long as the cold in the middle of the state. There were public warnings and requests to cons...

Re: Whitehouse orders system wide military stand down to address extremism
I see a bunch of people getting out of the military early. The Air Force is offering early separation incentives to enlisted airmen. My son is one of them, promoted to Senior Airman early and ready to take the test for Staff Sergeant. But they’re willing to let him go to reduce the force. I don’t t...

Re: 30.06/30.07 Signs: More? Fewer?
My impression is that I’m seeing fewer 30.06 and more 30.07, which is fine by me. In prohibiting open carry, they’ve tacitly approved concealed carry. I usually have something that can conceal even my OWB handgun (untucked shirt, vest, or sports jacket), so I don’t worry about it.

Re: GOP Rep. Greene to File Articles of Impeachment Against Joe Biden One Day After Inauguration
On the outside chance that her ploy would work, does she really want a President Kamala Harris? I don’t. This is just political posturing that serves no useful purpose.

Re: Texas to the rescue of our 2nd Amendment rights
Takes 270 to win, not half of the electoral total certified. Take away enough the put Biden below 270 and the election goes to the House of Representatives, where each state votes as a unit. Slight Republican advantage.
