Re: Paying for Parking
51% law. Her friends wanted to go to a bar and not a restaurant/bar. After the incident, I suggest that we drive her friends to their car in Ft Worth(as opposed to them taking the dart home), so we finished the night at a restaurant/bar where I carried IWB in Fort Worth and they drove home afterward...

I probably left out some details, but this situation ended with him becoming scared/frustrated and walking away.
It's hard to tell if they're nervous because they are about to rob you or if it's because they know you have a gun.

Re: Close call with Glock
When I carry 6 oclock, I use an Uncle Mikes for my M&Ps. Whenever I unholster and reholster, I take the gun out with the holster, so the trigger is protected while sitting in glove box and so that I can reholster all in one piece so the trigger is vulnerable to tugs.

Paying for Parking
I was in Downtown Dallas last-night with my girlfriend and two other friends. We were near the Dallas World Aquarium, but I don't know the downtown area very well. We were paying for parking and while the two girls had their faces into the electronic parking box thing where you pay for your stall, I...

What's the NY Strip run now? Last time I ate there it was 43.50
I used to eat there often. My business would do trade outs with the local restaurants, so that I didn't have to pay $150 for a nice dinner.

Re: Kydex IWB Wearing out Pants
Wear looser jeans. That's the only thing I can think of. I've used nothing but Comp-Tac IWB kydex holsters for a number of years and never had this problem before. Or better quality jeans. After buying a few "designer jeans" that wore out quickly, I went back to good ol levis. Levi...

Re: Texas CHL 16 days
I don't know how they got yours out so quickly. It took 10 days for me to receive mine in the mail after it showed on the website that it was printed. I had to change my ship to address as I moved during the waiting process which was nerving. They gladly changed the address on my CHL, and mailed it ...

If you felt like you were justified by showing your gun and preparing your draw, then you're fine. If you felt like you were trying to prove a point and scare someone, then you were being a jerk. I think you said you were about 20 feet away which can be covered in just a couple seconds by a semi ath...

Re: Who carries their gun with a full mag +1?
Is there any other option? Yes. You could always not top off your magazine after loading one in the chamber and thereby greatly reduce your risk of a failure to feed while in a life or death situation. It's your life, you do what you want. I will, however, play the odds on this one. Or you could ge...

Re: Gun ownership question
If you're paranoid about being suspected of a crime being committed with that weapon I'd at least fill out that bill of sale, or just hold onto that 380.
