+200 Yard Rifle Range

Postby labrat1001001 » Tue Jul 03, 2012 2:06 pm

Howdy,

Is there a public shooting range within a hundred miles or so of Dallas that has a +200 yard rifle range? Also, does this range(s) allow FMJ? I currently use Gibson’s Outpost for ≥200 FMJ.

Thanks,

Labrat

Just don't go on a damp/rainy day! You will be up to you knees in mud! Otherwise, a good and friendly range.

I have been going up to Magnum Sports in Sanger, it only goes out to 200 yards but is fairly close and very user friendly, $15 to shoot as long as you want. On Sunday there were 8 of us there, we all brought various firearms and had a great time, even brought the Winchester 1873 with the black powder cartridges, loved the smoke that comes out when fired, not so accurate though.....

that looks like a pretty informal range!

Perfect. Thanks Beriuty.

Range rules say, "FMJ ammo may only be fired at 100 yards."
