I signed up for the life membership this morning and know at least three friends who followed suit when they heard about it.

I was told this morning that it would take approximately twenty-four hours before the change would be reflected to your account online; the snail-mailed confirmation packet would be six to eight weeks due to their recent volume of new and upgraded members.

I hope I upgraded my membership to NRA Life. However, ask more questions.
They did not ask for my member number and now I think I should have asked more questions.

This is a great offer...

If you're already a Life Member, consider upgrading to one of the 'superlife' memberships for $250: Endowment, Patron or Benefactor :thumbs2:

I've always wanted the life membership but balked at the $1K fee.
well, not today. I signed up! thanks for the info, it very much appreciated.
I had two years left on my current 3yr membership, I'll consider it a donation.

They didn't ask for my member number either. The customer service rep was trying to be very quick and short. Anyway, after asking 2-3x, she said the member number doesn't change. She looked it up given the basic info. I didn't give it to her once on the call but she verified.

I signed up for lifetime just now, too. The guy that answered the call opened his spiel with the offer of a $300 lifetime membership.

Just one more thing - if you are already a life member, you can use the same phone number to upgrade to endowment member for only $250.

And for those of you who just have to have a web link instead, here ya go: https://www.nra-2013.org/

At my age (76 +11 months and 2 weeks) I upgraded to Life last year and Endowment this year. I want to be part of the count and the money is considered a donation.

I have also joined GOA as a life member this year... Same reasons... :patriot: :txflag: :fire

Hmm, that link shows the life membership at $600 ($400 savings).
