What happened to the NRA Facebook page?

Postby 77346 » Sat Jul 21, 2012 10:33 pm

Anyone knows what happened to the NRA Facebook page? It was there Thursday night... it's been gone since at least Friday afternoon.

They were less than 2,000 "likes" from 1.55m and were going to offer life memberships at half price one that goal is/was reached... bummer!

No, that one just loads my "home page." I just typed "NRA" in the search box, and those three links came up in the list.

After a barrage of feedback, the NRA deleted the American Rifleman Twitter and Facebook accounts, according to ThinkProgress.org. Several people posted links to stories about the NRA’s tweet on Facebook. ThinkProgress.org also noted that NRA deleted links to its Facebook and Twitter account from its website.

Thanks for the link, TxLobo... that sucks! I suspected it was taken down due to something with the Aurora shooting.
