What "No Weapons" policy?

Haven't seen where anything about weapons has even been announced for next year.
I'm anticipating based on past years. Will be as tickled as anyone if we're not facing a ban on CHLs

When the NRA was last in Houston, the City of Houston scraped the 30.06 stencil off Brown Convention Center at the insistence of the NRA. I can't imagine we'd agree to come back if there was any hint of trying to ban concealed carry.

If the City owns GRB, how can they [enforceably] 30.06 post the building?
and if they cannot enforce it, why is it even posted?

So, are you really asking why a city government would do something that makes no sense? Seriously? :smilelol5: "rlol" :rolll :biggrinjester:

Isn't that what government does, by definition?

So I looked on their site for the meeting but I didn't see a schedule of meetings/conferences did I miss it? I would like to go to the dinner but is this special invite or can you buy a ticket? I wish they would put out better information on the website.

Did you try the Annual Meeting website, http://www.nraam.org/? The meeting is still three months away, and not all event times and locations are set yet, but it looks like everything will be taking place at the George R. Brown convention center and the Hilton-America hotel.

Yea, I looked there but it sounds like many things are sent up and I'm sure they have used past meetings as a template. My thought is they would have a sign up or or a preregistration set up by now. Its my first time and I want to make the most out of the meeting being local. I'm even thinking about volunteering for it.

We should plan car pools from DFW. I am in in car pool, I can drive in a E550 or MDX depending on how many will car pool. I prefer the MDX if we have a lot luggage.
