Your message isn't clear.

There's going to be a protest FOR the NRA?

Meaning pro-gun?

P.S. I have zero interest in or an account with FB or tweeting or any other so-called social network entities.

With the exception of posting on this forum and looking at a bit of email or performing some research is the extent of my participation on the internet - and that's too much.

To me attending the convention is all that is necessary. I'm planning on attending. Can I carry?

Yes. Check the note at the bottom of the page.
During the NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits, conceal carry firearms are permitted in the George R. Brown Convention Center and the Hilton Americas-Houston Hotel. When carrying your firearm, remember to follow all federal, state and local laws.

Be an excellent place for another poll on expanding background checks!!

Our 99+% against would be as valid as the antis' 90% figure.

It's a protest led by an anti-2a group "kidsbeforeguns" against the NRA in retaliation for the NRA (us) effectively killing legislation. Btw, good job on that everyone. :clapping: stay vigilant. :patriot: :txflag:
Armed not dangerous but potentially lethal.

I suspect there will be more than one protest group. Best to ignore them and enjoy the show.

This is interesting, as I recall several posted (and very hard to read due to white lettering on clear background) 30.06 signs/lettering at the Hilton Americas-Houston Hotel from my visit there a few years ago. I take it the 30.06 signage has come down or is this a "just for this weekend it's OK" kind of thing? :tiphat:

Out of curiosity, what federal laws would apply, if any?

A convicted felon or otherwise prohibited person carrying a firearm would be violating federal as well as state laws. Someone selling firearms as an unlicensed dealer would also qualify.

Doubt we'll see too much of that an an NRA convention. :tiphat:

The bluebonnets keep blocking my posts, blocking me, and such - it seems that they don't want to know the truth and certainly don't welcome dissent to their opinions, and oh the names they call.
