Senator Nasheed has had another incident involving her gun. http://dailycaller.com/2014/11/22/pro-g ... -gunpoint/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
According to her, a young black male wearing a hoodie (no irony there), pointed a gun to her head and told her to hand him the keys to her car. She told him no and he ran away. It seems rather odd that the guy with the gun would simply run away when told no - unless he was staring at the barrel of her 9mm.

The Constitution preserves the advantage of being armed which Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation where the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms. James Madison

No, the officer knew AND he didn't push her into the breathalyzer test, either, because he recognized her as a senator. He did arrest her because she WANTED to be arrested so that she can "represent" her community as a martyr. These officers were under enormous pressure NOT to get her into real trouble (felony) because she had a powerful position. She really could cause a lot of trouble for those officers if they "dissed" her. They probably treated her with kid gloves.rotor wrote:The LEO though wasn't sure about alcohol and carry.
Remember the last time you dealt with a celebrity client on your job. Did you treat that person with kid gloves? Especially if that person was in a position of power, how did you treat that person? It was no different for those officers.
Barbara Bush came to the antique mall of one of my relatives. They shut down the entire mall and shoved all the other customers out the door so that she could shop by herself inside the store with secret service. Nobody told them to do this. It wasn't a conspiracy. People who know what's good for them just naturally do this.
