His wife Kimberly Lene Williams testified against him at trial, and two weeks later pled guilty to murder and received a 40 year sentence, eligible for parole in 20. She testified that she and her husband also planned to kill a couple judges, but were arrested before they could do so. She pled guilty in the same court room that her husband had been convicted of stealing the computer equipment in.

There are a surprising number (6) of women named Kim or Kimberly Williams in the TDCJ system.
I also can't believe it's been 4+ years since this happened. It doesn't seem like it's been that long.
