2 armed robbers shot, family wants justice

Post by Jumping Frog »

Families want justice for suspects killed after robbery of Krick's Korner store in Reading

Looks like two "gibsmedat" thugs made a tactical error.

The "gibsmedat" family expresses outrage that their good-hearted boy loved his daughter and it isn't fair that someone would permanently interrupt his cash flow management.
"It's not fair," said Virginia Medina, mother of 24-year-old William Medina, who police said robbed Krick's Korner store alongside 18-year-old Robert De Carr on Monday. The two men were shot and killed by a private citizen while leaving the store, and family members want to see charges pressed.

"[William] had no right to lose his life over something that man could have called the police for," said Medina. "He took the law into his own hands and walked away scot-free." "How about if people just start running around here, policing the city on their own? How much worse is it going to get?" said Peter Ratel, Medina's cousin.

The family members said they are hurt by comments suggesting the alleged robbers were "thugs." According to Medina, William was "no big hard criminal" and was rather a family-man who loved his young daughter. Robert De Carr was described similarly by his sister, Taylor De Carr. "My brother was a good kid," she told 69 News.
On a side note, the getaway driver is facing second degree murder and conspiracy charges (as he should). :thumbs2:

I assume the unidentified private citizen has a PA LTCF ("License to Carry Firearms"), as he was not arrested and one must be licensed to be packing in PA.

I'm just shaking my head in disbelief!

So what about the rights of the store clerk as a private citizen? That person would not have been justified responding with deadly force according to their logic.

I feel bad for the armed citizen, although he has protection under the law, he's possibly a target by this family. This will disrupt his life for sure. He's gonna have to watch his back.

The family members should blame no one but themselves and the dead criminals. If they are not happy with PA laws, move to Cuba.

In my world the press would have laughed at their comments and not even published them.

I bet they voted for barry.

Cuba has a reputation for being rather harsh on criminals,so not sure why they would want to move there as an alternative to here.

However, maybe it is a good idea for them.

this is a perfect example of why this country is going down the drain... somehow it has evolved into a place where it's somehow okay for two young men WEARING MASKS AND BRANDISHING PISTOLS to go and rob a convienient store and to threaten the lives of others????? What difference would it have made if a LEO were to shoot them instead of a citizen???? do they really think that police approaching two armed men are going to hand them a cup of coffee and talk them into putting their guns down and giving up???? better parenting would have been the answer to this situation.... if your kid wasn't out robbing people AT GUN POINT he wouldn't have been dealt with accordingly.....

Poor guy. I am sure this was caused by the patriarchy and the evil white culture we live in. The government is responsible for this incident.

Awesome ending. If all violent crimes ended like this we wouldn't have many problems. The entire thug family deserved the wake up call they got.
