The 10:00 news story had much more information. Two teenagers were walking by a suburban house and an argument occurred between the owner of the house and the teens. The teens left, then returned to the homeowners house and the argument resumed. The homeowner ordered them to leave his property at some point in all this. He retrieved a gun from his car and fired four shots one hit a teen in the shoulder and in the back. He called 911 and waited for deputies to arrive. The teen was life flighted to Hermann.

No names were released, and at the time of the report, no one had been arrested.

One teen was interviewed on camera, he may or may not have been one of the teens involved. He seemed to know a lot about what happened, but I am getting hard of hearing and I didn't understand a thing he said.

The news reporter made a bid deal of the shooter remaining at the scene and waiting for the deputies.

Obviously a wound to the back is problematic for the homeowner and the life flight helicopter is shown in the daylight hours.

this is my old hood, and i do mean hood..... i would really be interested in what the homeowner has to say because in that neighborhood, anybody on or near my property was suspect to me, ecspecially if they came back after being told to leave the first time......

Looks like they updated the story from "teen" to "man" but not the headlines....

A man was shot several times in a northeast Harris County neighborhood after officials said he got into an argument Tuesday night.
Precinct 4 deputies responded to a disturbance on Fox Star Lane at around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. According to deputies, a homeowner and his wife arrived home and were parking in their driveway when the homeowner says they were approached and threatened by two men. The homeowner told investigators he fired his gun at one of the men because he thought he was reaching into his waistband for a weapon.
The 23-year-old sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to Hermann Memorial Hospital via Life Flight with non-life threatening injuries. The other man who accompanied the injured subject fled the scene before deputies could arrive.

Homeowner has not been arrested.

Man shot speaks out (only to Channel 2)

Quannell X is involved now. He wants it investigated as a hate crime.

In that case, odds are it was a "good shoot" legally and ethically.
I sincerely apologize to anybody I offended by suggesting the Second Amendment also applies to The People who don't work for the government.

On the radio news now. New information, the two men threatened to kill the neighbor, then came back.

Hmmm.

Maybe Quanell needs to pick more innocent "victims".
