Church shooting Charleston SC

#1

Post by rtschl »

9PM local time... some reports saying 8 or 9 shot and/or killed. Details are sketchy at this time, but it is an historic black AME church.

Edit:

Meant to add that this is a reason for allowing CHL in churches. Glad Texas changed the law to remove churches and synagogues as off limit automatically.

"Church or other established religious sanctuary unless express permission is given by the appropriate church official or governing body - Illegal."

Copied from my gun app.

The app is called CCW. It's well-worth $1.99.

The AP article I read pretty much a ignored gun bashing - I was very surprised.

I'm watching CNN right now about the shooting and listening to the reporter interviewing SC Senator Marlon Kimpson (D) asking about if the deacon should be allowed to carry and the Sen. response was "no, a church is about love & forgiveness". Furthermore he stated he would like to see more stricter gun laws. This guy lives in a dream world. "Strict gun laws" would have no impact whatsover on sick insane people such as this guy. What is it that these people dont get????? gun free zones dont Eff'in work people....

Some people just can't figure it out.
Keep calm and carry.

Something else to consider: The pastor of this church, who was killed, is a State Legislator in S.C. History repeats itself. Nobody learns. People die. Another senseless tragedy that might have been averted.

Prayers for the victim's families.

Prayers that someone in Texas wakes up and overrules the private security industry.

Suspect arrested, Dylann Roof. I hope SC has the death penalty.

I just read that he had a pending Felony. Wouldn't that make it illegal for him to posess a gun?

You guys are way too generous. They know perfectly well, and not only do they not care, events like this are exactly what they want to happen. They WANT the plebes to be defenseless. They DON'T intend any restrictions to apply to THEMSELVES. By the way, you can bet that being on CNN, the question was asked for the express purpose of advocating gun control, knowing what the answer would be, and that it would NOT be allowing more carry. IOW, it was a setup.

Probably because they are more interested in fanning the flames of racial tension right now.
