Gun Control Supporter Steals Concealed Carrier’s Gun, Shoots Him
Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence. - John Adams

Don't hold your breath for ACLU on this.
And this piece of garbage was not charged with attempted murder why?

It's time for a civil suit in addition to criminal charges.

Yeah, that's what I'm wondering, too. Unfortunately, the article from local paper about the incident has comments disabled.parabelum wrote:And this piece of garbage was not charged with attempted murder why?
I am not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, nor should anything I say be taken as legal advice. If it is important that any information be accurate, do not use me as the only source.

I'm going to say that as the gun control advocate and the concealed carrier struggled for control of the gun while in the vacinity of the holster the trigger was pulled. At that point the gun owner released his hold on the gun, the gun control advocate then took control of the gun ( pun intended) and then not being trained pointed it at anyone nearby.
Otherwise to me it is attempted murder.
Not sure why it is not theft, other than this is a liberal part of Kansas ( it's not Liberal Kansas, another pun) and the DA there probably doesn't like people having guns.
