(SOURCE: Jackson City Police)
JACKSON (CBS46) -
A Jackson Police Department police officer accused of lying about being shot by a black man has been indicted by a grand jury.

Sherry Hall claimed she was shot in the stomach in September of 2016 by a black man who she says ran into the woods following the shooting. After an investigation, it has been determined that there was never a suspect shooter at large in Jackson.

Another source with more info.

She claims there is a cover up.

Wonder if it's normal in Georgia to hire people convicted of felonies as police officers
The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

Not any longer. The law was changed. I saw it in one of the reports but can't remember which one.

I am happy that she was indicted. We don't want or need people like that on police forces. :smash:

Not the link that Mojo84 was referring to, but I found this article talking about Colorado issuing
waivers for applicants with felony records.
