In life as in baseball, it is the number of times you reach home safely that count.

From the article
"HOUSTON - A homeowner fights back after, deputies say, four men tried to rob him, deputies said.
Little more from ABC:
... veteran Marine... homeowner was approached from behind by four young men. One of them held a gun to the back of his head and tried to get him to go inside his home. They said the homeowner spun around, knocked the suspect's handgun away, pulled out his own gun and shot the teen robber several times.
What a nut for carrying in his own garage. Oh, wait...

Good move by the retired Marine, but poor situational awareness to let them get behind him.
Tomorrow the shot criminal’s family will be whining about how he didn’t deserve to be shot.
The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager
