HB 2890 referred to State Affairs
I got this alert today. The Senate bill has already been voted out of committee. What does referred to State Affairs mean for the parking lot bill in the House?

Re: HB 2890 referred to State Affairs
HB2890 was referred to State Affairs because it is a parking lot bill applying to government employees only.
HB681, which applies to all employers, was voted out of the Business and Industry committee on Monday.
SB321, which passed the whole Senate Tuesday and has been sent to the House, will in all likelihood go to B&I as well. It's unlikely they'll take any action on it since they already voted out its companion bill HB681.
