Does it require proprietary mags?

They take a standard AR-15 mag.

Any mil-spec mag will work. :tiphat:

Actually since it is the 556R meaning russian, it uses standard AK-47 mags as pictured under the rifle.

I have only seen the Sig 556 that shoots .223. Like the one Carlson has for sale now.

Correct this shoot 7.62x39 ammo and uses standard AK mags

As far as trades Stoeger M3000, XDM 5.25 9mm, 5.56/.223 or 9mm ammo, 1-6x glass (I'd add money if needed)
