SPF - Dan Wesson V-Bob

#1

Post by Soccerdad1995 »

Up for sale is a Dan Wesson V-Bob, .45 ACP, in stainless. I REALLY hate to let this go, but I have recently settled on a CCO / Nighthawk Talon 2 for my carry rotation, and this gun is spending too much time in the safe. I am hoping someone else can give him the love he deserves.

I bought this gun in May 2016. Gun has 723 rounds down range. Has been completely reliable with a mix of FMJ ammo (mainly WWB and Federal), as well as HST hollow points. Stock. No modifications.

Asking $1,275 FTF in Houston, but I will be headed up to Fort Worth this weekend if you are in the DFW area.

Thank you for the kind words. And I will say the same about you. Carlson1 is truly a great guy to deal with. I buy and sell a fair amount of guns and I will go out of my way if I have a chance to deal with this guy. He does what he says he is going to do. Which is a nice thing to encounter now a days.

Carlson - If you lived in Houston, or I lived in DFW, I think it would be dangerous for my wallet!

Bump.

I am currently in need of a used car for my 17 year old. Will consider a trade for this gun, and/or the P226 + cash for something that is reliable. It needs to last her through college. Willing to go up to $10K or a bit more on the car.

What caliber were you thinking in trade with the P226?

I'm not sure I understand the question. I'm looking to get her a car. But my P226 is a 9mm, standard gun except for the SRT that is installed.

I completely misunderstood the question. Please disregard. I thought I had read that you were willing to trade it for a P226 + cash. Looks like my age is getting to me again. :tiphat:  :grumble

I can't believe this hasn't sold yet.

This is a top-of-the-line production 1911 and the asking price is almost $500 below MSRP.

I have one and the quality is second to none.

Bump to say that I will be in the DFW area the weekend of September 9-10 if anyone in that area is interested in this gun.
