I actually got a bargin at Dick's/Field and Stream!

I've been trying to find some Federal rifle ammo I use in my deer rifles and ended up at Dick's/Field and Stream on I-45 near Baybrook. They didn't have the ammo but I saw a big basket bin display of Federal .22 Automatch 325 count. The sign said 2/$20 so I picked up two cartons. I was perusing the firearms and as I did I asked if I could check out there at the gun counter. Sure enough they have a register there. The young man rung them up and they were $18.99 a carton. 
I told him they were marked with signs on three side 2/$20. We went and looked and he overrode the register and rang them up at 2/$20. He pulled the signs before we went back to the counter, though.
I had to order my ammo from Cabela's, but I had a Bass Pro gift card which Cabela's accepts now that they are owned by them. Even got free shipping with a promo code and my .270 ammo was on sale, but the .308 was not. At present the Bass Pro cards won't work on line and you have to call the 1-800 number to place your order. Cabela's customer service was great helping me use my gift card, BTW.
