HB 1349
Does anybody know the status of this bill? It was scheduled for a public hearing on Tuesday in the Criminal Justice committee and left pending. Then it was scheduled for a second public hearing yesterday, and it status is not listed. (This is the bill that prohibits DPS from asking for your social security number.)
The Constitution preserves the advantage of being armed which Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation where the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms. James Madison

Re: HB 1349
As of noon today, it has been reported out of the Senate committee (as substitued). The substitution has not yet been posted on the website. It's headed to the full senate, but after that I think it has to go back to the House since there was a substitution in committee.baldeagle wrote:Does anybody know the status of this bill?
